David Woods, the Managing Director of World Trade Agenda Consultants, spent 13 years as Director of Information at the GATT and the World Trade Organization following similar positions in the UK Department of Trade and Industry and the Department of Energy. Following the WTO, he worked as Director of Corporate Communications for Goldman Sachs International, the investment bank. In 1999 he founded and edited World Trade Agenda, a publication devoted to international trade policy questions. The publication was transformed into World Trade Agenda Consultants in January 2002.
